Pharmacist-formulated skincare, thoughtfully made.
— Our Story —

It started at a
compounding bench.

Chemistrie was not founded in a boardroom. It was founded one milligram at a time, on a pharmacist's bench in Houston, for the women the founders came home to.

Some houses begin with an idea. Ours began with a request — and a pharmacist who could not say no.

— The origin —

A bench in Houston

It began on a compounding bench in Houston, where two pharmacists spent their days weighing actives to the milligram. The frustration was quiet at first: the retinol a wife tried burned her cheeks, the vitamin C a mother bought oxidised brown within a week. So the founders did what pharmacists do — they compounded a better one by hand, on the bench, until it was right.

— Why they built it —

For the women they love

Chemistrie was never made for a market. The first formulas were made for the women the founders came home to — wives, mothers, daughters — the people whose faces they knew well enough to formulate for. A serum only left the bench once one of them would keep using it. That is still the test.

— The promise —

Honest to the milligram

Every batch is compounded by hand in runs capped at 200 bottles, then hand-numbered before it ships, so nothing sits waiting on a shelf while its actives fade. Each concentration is printed exactly as compounded — no rounding, no marketing blends.

— The promise, kept —

A pharmacist still answers

Write to Chemistrie and a pharmacist answers — the same person who might have weighed the actives in your bottle. The house has grown, but the bench has not moved, and neither has the standard: make it work, make it kind, make it worthy of the person who will use it nightly.

    The bench

Two compounding pharmacists in Houston start formulating after hours — a retinol that would not burn, a vitamin C that would not brown by Friday — for the wives, mothers and daughters they came home to.

    The first hand-poured batch

The retinaldehyde serum finally passes the only test that matters: someone they love keeps reaching for it. The first small batch is poured and labelled by hand at the bench.

    The waiting list

Word travels the way it does among women who trust each other. Requests outrun the bench, and Chemistrie begins keeping a quiet list of names waiting for the next run.

    The first numbered 200

The house formalises its promise: runs capped at 200 bottles, each hand-numbered and traceable to the pharmacist who compounded it, dispensed fresh rather than stockpiled.

    The sixth formula, and today

Six formulas now carry the Chemistrie name. The bench has not moved and a pharmacist still answers every message — the same standard, only with a door open to you.
