Harin has practiced pharmacy since 2014, with experience spanning long-term care, specialty pharmacy, infusion, and compounding. His career has centered on precision, formulation, and evaluating products through a pharmacist's lens. When he and Zach began developing Chemistrie, that same approach became the standard: start with strong professional formulations, evaluate them critically, and refine them where needed.

Zach has practiced pharmacy since 2015, spending more than a decade in community pharmacy before moving into compounding. Years of answering questions about over-the-counter skincare and dermatologic products gave him a front-row seat to what consumers were buying, what they expected, and where those expectations often fell short. After joining The Chemist Pharmacy, he reconnected professionally with Harin, and the conversations that eventually became Chemistrie began.
Harin and Zach met in 2011 at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy through Phi Delta Chi. Both later served as chapter president, Harin in 2012 and Zach in 2013, before their careers moved into different areas of pharmacy.
More than a decade later, their careers came back together when Zach joined The Chemist Pharmacy. They began comparing what they had learned across community pharmacy, specialty care, infusion, compounding, dermatologic products, and formulation.
The idea for Chemistrie became real through conversations at home. Zach's wife, Tyra, was exploring skincare while in Japan and wanted products they could make with confidence. Harin's wife was buying skincare online but faced the same problem many consumers do: endless options, complicated routines, and uncertainty about what to buy or who to trust. Harin and Zach saw an opportunity to simplify that experience with high-quality skincare, clear routines, and pharmacist-led judgment. They selected and refined the formulas with their wives in mind, then used their feedback on the products and packaging before launch.
Chemistrie was built around a simple idea: a skincare routine should be easy to understand without sacrificing quality. Our formulations begin with professionally developed PCCA formulas. Harin and Zach evaluate the available options together, prepare and critique them, and refine them where needed before selecting the final version for production. The goal is not to give customers more products. It is to give them a clear, considered routine and help them understand what they need and why.
